Nova Scotia to Offer HPV Vaccine

Girls in the seventh and tenth grades in Nova Scotia, Canada, will have the option of receiving free HPV vaccinations during the upcoming 2009-2010 year. Previously, the vaccine was only offered to those in the seventh grade. The vaccine prevents cervical cancer and the strain of HPV that causes genital warts.
